Pacific Harbour and Beqa Vacations Guide

Pacific Harbour is located on Fiji's main island's southern coastline, at the far end of the Coral Coast and just 45 minutes by road to Suva. It is often called the adventure capital of Fiji as it is a central point for many exciting activities in the area.

The island of Beqa is clearly visible from Pacific Harbour's lengthy sandy beach, and dive operators take scuba divers across the Beqa passage to explore the many dive sites in the reef encircling the island. The smaller island of Yanuca, also within the lagoon, offers excellent surfing for surfers wishing to experience fun and action in Fiji. The luxury Royal Davui resort is on another small island. Resorts also exist on the main island of Beqa itself.

Adventure activities include world-class scuba diving in the Beqa Lagoon, game and sport fishing, river rafting, jet ski tours, surfing and kayaking. In addition to the adventure sports, Pacific Harbour also offers excellent golfing opportunities via the Robert Trent-Jones Jr designed 18 hole course called 'The Greens'. There is also a busy central hub of shops, post office, bank, cafes and restaurants at the Cultural Centre, which also has a really good cultural tour allowing visitors to quickly gain an insight into many Fijian traditions, cultural activities. These include a demonstration of the legendary 'firewalkers of Beqa'. Not to be missed.
