Travellers are familiar with hotel accommodation world-wide and often prefer to stay at a hotel room when they visit Fiji, rather than, say, a beachfront bure (cottage) or private villa. Hotels are often also the preference of business travellers, who are visiting the country for different reasons than just relaxing by the pool or on the beach.   Where are they: Budget hotels are in Suva, Nadi, Lautoka and Rakiraki on the main island. Also at Savusavu in the North of Fiji.

When you vacation at a hotel in Fiji Islands you can expect the same kind of amenities and facilities as are provided by hotels in other parts of the world. A comfortable room with ensuite bathroom. Usually air-conditioned, and with daily room cleaning. At least one restaurant and bar will be on the premises, and room service is available for those wishing to eat in the privacy of one's room. Since hotels are often used by business travellers to Fiji, a business centre is often found, along with meeting and conference facilities at the larger properties able to cater to several hundred delegates.
